The McLendon Family Saga Book #3
The Mclendon twins are all grown up and-OMG-are they ever a double handful! Country music gods, these golden boys of Falcon Ridge are in for some tough lessons in family and love. When their beloved Papa falls ill, they are called home to the place that holds both their hearts and a painful secret. Can they face their past and heal their wandering souls, or will they turn their backs on the one person who can make them whole again?

I have been waiting for this book is understatement. As I love Car and Con ever since I meet them as kids in The Heart of Falcon Ridge( formerly known as Second Chances). They were adorable and stole the hearts of readers and Gabby alike so I when I saw that Roan was finally realising their story I had to read it. The Heart of Falcon Ridge is one my favourite books and I can’t get enough of it. I always read it at least once a year since it is release and I wanted the tradition so to speak to continue.

It didn’t disappoint, if you thought the first book was all heart warming with a suspense angle (well there was little heart break as well). Well this book is a whole different world and involves a lot of heart breaking. With all familiar characters older and ready to have their own fun.

Our story starts not in the present but in the past when Carson and Conner are 17 and on the cups of adulthood. Their lives are shattered when an accident tears apart their hearts and two other families, one being the girl next door, 14 year old Breezy Youngblood who life changed forever. In those moments the author sets up the book and presents us what to come. It seems history is repeating itself but for different reasons and it sorely affects Carson.

Fast forwarding to the present, Breezy is returning to Grasslands and things haven’t changed much. The twins are world famous rockstars but to her they are the boys next door the ones she had the crushes on. The ones who broke her heart and still she was attracted to them. However those feelings have never been said or explored as there was always the big problem. The family prejudices which stems along before the accident.

Breezy is only here for thing. To help their Papa.Carson and Carson are back to support their family and sort out their problems. As Carson hasn’t gotten over what happened exactly all those years ago and has spiralled out of control. Guilt has eaten at him and nearly destroyed him

So when the so called cause he likes to believe is at home waiting to help. Caron is thrown for tail spin and looks like now one can help him?

Attraction is one thing, Hate is another. A bundle of emotions are these people . Will they be able to work it out . Or were they doomed from the start.

Rock Star Cowboys may have become my new favourite of Roan’s . Roan writes quality menage romances and this book was no expectation. She explored things from all angles and I loved how detailed she was . Addressing all the fears and throwing a little surprise or two into the mix. It Roan handles their story with easy . Allowing them to grow and take a chance or two as we watch them fall in love.

I can’t wait to see where she goes with the McLendon Family as there is plenty of siblings left who have a story or two to tell .

And building sand castles instead of snowmen in December and sending pictures of them to all her snowbound friends. She loves rainy days, thunderstorms and is an avid dog lover. Yes, size matters. She hopes to one day add a big ol’ floppy Great Dane to her family of hounds.
