March 10, 2017

Megan Simmons is a soldier sent into space to protect Earth as members of the Coalition Fleet. After eighteen months of ruthless fighting on a Hive controlled planet, she is separated from her unit, lost and trapped behind enemy lines.

Nyko of Atlan never hesitates to charge into battle against Hive scum. Seeing a soldier in trouble, he follows routine, ripping his enemies to shreds to save the human. When that warrior turns out to be a beautiful and curvy female, the beast he’s been fighting suddenly breaks free and growls one simple demand…MINE.

I can’t sing the praises enough of Goodwin if you haven’t realised by now.  She keeps her books from becoming stale by coming up another plot that you don’t’ see coming.  If you have followed the series, you would know the history of the Atlans and their beasts . Their other half of their soul determines a few things and one thing is clear. When the beast decides,  it time. The mating fever arrives  hard and fast.

For Warrior Nyko it couldn’t come a worse time.   Stuck on a battlegrounds and the only company is a human solider named Megan Simmons who  he decided to rescue  and she isn’t exactly keen to see him . Long story  but  Nyko is determined to make her his but there bigger problems at play

Megan who is two days away from retiring from the military and becoming bride was on one last mission. She didn’t expect to find herself in this situation let alone with an  Atlan warrior.  She thought it was her time, she wasn’t gong to separated from her unit.

Luckily for her Nyko has found her and well this Atlan  isn’t going to let an opportunity past him.  The beast is in control and determined Megan is his.Nyko is like any other male  and whilst I knew  what going to happen to this two as Nyko is an alpha male is more then happy to make his wishes happen.  There so much more to this book

Whilst the title was an indication for this book, this book was still a surprised. The blurb only hints at the beginning and there so much more going on this with this story.  I loved the twists she had with this novel.  After ten books in this series and   a couple of series in this world. Things got really interesting.
